- Sylvia Sippl Added April 04, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★Cottage is certainly misleading - I travelled down south for a wedding and treated us to a few nights in one of the beachside "cottages". I couldn't believe how beautiful this house was when we walked in, even though I'd seen the photos online.
The worst thing about the trip was trying to leave - we felt SO comfortable in our accommodation, even though it was just the two of us in a pretty large house. I could have stayed there weeks more!
It was winter when we stayed but we still enjoyed watching the moody clouds and water from our relatively sheltered patio, and watching the wind in the trees through the floor-to-ceiling glass at night. The log fire was perfect, and there was so much attention to detail throughout the house, including the high quality kitchen appliances, beautiful decorations throughout, CDs and DVDs in the lounge, activities upstairs in the mezzanine, and beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. I really cannot fault this place and the team at reception were so lovely - they were flexible with our late arrival time and helped recommend local shops and destinations.
